Welcome to Bollington Family History Club
We are a group of enthusiastic amateur genealogists who meet monthly at Bollington Arts Centre to share our successes and encourage each other with our research.
The charge for a single meeting is £2, which includes refreshments. The very first meeting you attend is always free, so you can see whether it is the club for you. Club members pay an annual membership fee which covers the cost of meeting-room hire and also gives access to our library where you can borrow genealogical items such as books, maps, microfiche and CD-Roms.
We operate on a "drop-in" basis so that members can come and go at any time during the morning, and we would be delighted to welcome new members, whether beginners or the more experienced family historian.
Some of our members have local ancestry but many are researching outside the Cheshire area - a few even have ancestors in such far-flung places as Europe, the United States and Australia!
